Summer Schools are back at Burnley College, the Number 1 College in England*, and this year they’re more exciting, action packed and varied than ever with three exciting activities:

The Musical Theatre experience will see learners work with professional industry-experienced tutors to perfect new skills and take part in a breath-taking Matilda-style show in their amazing performance theatre for parents and guardians.

Esports and Gaming fans will be using the College’s cutting-edge gaming suites equipped with a full Formula 1 sim-rig, playing competitive Esports, learning Photoshop skills and discovering how fitness and wellbeing play a vital role in staying at the top of your game.

Arts and Craft enthusiasts will have the chance to explore and indulge their creative side, learning the different skills, techniques and tricks to creating great art in a variety of styles.

Ed Foulds, Head of Creative Arts and Media, says it’s a chance to have fun and explore potential future careers:

We always ensure our Summer Schools are packed full of fun activities and that every learner leaves with a host of memories.
But we’re also about making young people aware of the number of opportunities open to them, particularly in the creative and gaming industries.
