About this vacancy

Based at Burnley St Peter’s and Padiham Leisure Centres you will gain a broad range of experience-based knowledge of services provided within Burnley Leisure. As this role incorporates lifeguarding; a minimum swimming ability is required and you will be required to undertake a swimming test in addition to satisfying college assessments. In partnership with Burnley College we will support you through a comprehensive training programme recognised by employers across the country.

We are looking for self-motivated people who aspire to develop themselves and are committed to learning. You will need a good school, college or work record of attendance, good communication skills and be able to satisfy basic literacy and numeracy requirements.

Working as a team and supporting others is essential.

Burnley Leisure will support and process your learning within the Leisure Industry. You will be gaining qualifications that are specific to the Leisure Industry. The apprenticeship is a great way to gain full time employment with Burnley Leisure and progress to your full potential.
