Skills and Innovation Director Invited to Prestigious Conference

We are thrilled to announce that our Director of Skills and Innovation, Neil Burrows, will be speaking at the world-renowned Robotics and Automation Conference at the Birmingham NEC next month.

This highly-anticipated event brings together leading minds in robotics and automation for two days of expert discussions, innovation displays and cutting-edge insights.

Neil will be a key voice on the panel discussion titled ‘Robotics as a Service (RaaS): The Next Frontier in Scalable Automation’, on Tuesday 25 March.

The panel will explore how RaaS is reshaping the future of automation by offering businesses flexible, scalable solutions through on-demand access to robotics systems.

Key topics include:

  • Why businesses are shifting from purchasing robotics to renting systems
  • Creating the workforce of the future
  • The role RaaS will play in commercial strategies over the next five years.

The discussion promises valuable insights, particularly for organisations looking to innovate their processes and adapt to rapidly changing market demands. It aligns with Burnley College’s position as a leading education and training provider within the Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology.
