“England Lacrosse has already been to Burnley College to deliver training on the coaching fundamentals of the sport. This is ensuring we’re ready to deliver expert-level training from day one in primary schools and high schools.
“But it also means our students and learners have the opportunity to train as activator coaches so they can help with the delivery of lacrosse training in the community.
“It’s a win win situation for everyone.”
Lacrosse, often referred to as LAX, is thought to date back to the 12th century, with the modern rules coming in to play in Canada in the 1860s.
Fitness Evolution is a multi-million pound strength and conditioning facility that works with Burnley College to provide award-winning courses and qualifications for every level of sportsperson from Sunday soccer star to Premier League players.
