A former T Level Student at Burnley College is sharing her passion for caring and learning by embarking on a national campaign to raise awareness about T Levels as a pathway to Midwifery.
Lucy Brotherton studied T Level Healthcare Science and is now reading Midwifery at the University of Manchester:
I’d always wanted to be a Midwife. Getting to work at hospitals in Burnley and Blackburn as part of my T Levels really helped make up my mind.
I want to share my journey so others like me can realise they achieve their career dreams too.– Lucy Brotherton, Reading Midwifery at the University of Manchester
Lucy was tutored here at Burnley College by T Levels Ambassador and former midwife Zoe Asthon.
T Levels are a qualification which sees you split time between the classroom and getting real-world on-the-job experience.
Zoe says more and more business are signing up to help provide these exceptional qualifications, but they could always do with more:
“It’s a great opportunity for business leaders to influence learning for the future to make it more relevant to their industry all while getting the opportunity to work with passionate new potential employees.”
