About the course

During this apprenticeship you will gain the knowledge and skills to become a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer.

Plumbers and Heating Engineers install, service and repair hot and cold water systems and heating systems in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings.

Entry Requirements

Maths and English GCSEs at Grade 4 or above.

Science GCSE would benefit the learner with scientific formula.

Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and motivated. As part of the interview process, Apprentices will undertake the BPEC Plumbing Test and BKSB assessment in English, Mathematics and ICT.

You will gain knowledge and skills in a wide range of topics including:

  • Plumbing principles and processes
  • Hot and Cold water systems
  • Heating systems
  • Sanitation
  • Natural Gas

Assessment

End Point Assessment

The assessment for this plumbing apprenticeship is a five day assessment, assessed by an external assessor.
