Apprentices will gain the knowledge and skills associated with Plastering. Using hand tools and techniques to apply a range of plasters to various backgrounds.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of two GCSEs at Grade 3 or above.

Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and motivated.

As part of the interview process, Apprentices will undertake a BKSB assessment in English and Mathematics

Assessment

End Point Assessment (EPA)

Apprentices will complete an end point assessment. The EPA is externally assessed and consists of the following elements;

Practical Skills Test (Two days)

Multiple Choice Knowledge Exam

Professional Discussion based on a Portfolio of Evidence

Careers & Progression

On completion of the Level 2 Plastering Standard, apprentices may progress on to the Level 3 Craft Plastering Standard
