About the course

Join us for two unforgettable evenings of theoretical stargazing principles and a night under the stars with our exclusive Astronomy Experience, hosted on the rooftop. This event is designed for anyone aged 16 and above, including adults who are curious about the wonders of the universe.

Ticket Information:
Each ticket admits two people—either two adults or one adult and one 16–17-year-old. Participants aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility Notice:
Please note that this event takes place on the roof of our building, which is only accessible via stairs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate mobility issues.

What to Bring:
As the rooftop is exposed to the elements, we recommend dressing warmly with hats, coats, and gloves to ensure your comfort during the session.

Event Details:
This experience includes two sessions:

1. Astronomy Theory – Learn the fascinating principles behind the night sky.
2. Practical Stargazing – Use our telescopes to explore the stars and planets.

Dates: this event is planned for two evenings, but is weather dependent and so the outdoor session may be postponed to the backup date should the conditions now allow the outdoor experience. In the event of a cancelation or postponement we aim to make this decision and notify attendees early afternoon on each day. 

• Primary Dates: Monday, 13th January 2025 and Monday, 20th January 2025.
• Backup Date: Monday, 27th January 2025 (in case of poor weather on the primary dates).

The event runs from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Please keep all three dates free as the outdoor session is weather-dependent and requires fair, non-icy conditions.

Additional Information:
All participants must sign a health and safety risk declaration upon arrival.
