About the course

Organisational leadership can often be focused on delivering operational targets, at the expense of taking a longer-term strategic approach. This 2-day course will enable you to work with leaders in your organisations to help develop methodologies which can bring strategic approaches back into focus. The first day will focus on identifying the challenges with strategic leadership within organisations. Strategic tools such as horizon scanning, back casting and risk management approaches will be covered, utilising the latest ideas from the business world. The second day includes building on previous work, identifying any issues that may have arisen after the first session and developing concepts such as strategic reflection and storytelling for success.
