About the course
Psychology is the study of human behaviour; it is a course
that will help you to better understand everyone around you and give you an
insight into yourself. You will learn all the key skills of a psychologist –
including how to design and conduct research and analyse your data. You will
assess how memory works, how we develop attachments to caregivers and outline
mental disorders such as phobias, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and
schizophrenia. You will study how abnormalities in mental health develop – and
how they are treated, in addition to looking at child development and criminal
psychology.

Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at Grade 5 or above which includes: Science, English and Mathematics

Assessment
You will be assessed via 2 AS exams in year 1 and 3 A2 exams in year 2. The course is 100% exam based across the two years.
