About the course

You will study modules which are designed to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for your chosen progression route. Your programme of study will help you develop your vocational skills in business, computing, digital and travel and tourism alongside key employability skills such as problem solving, creativity, communication, presentation and confidence to get you ready for your next steps.

Entry Requirements

Two GCSEs at Grade 2 or above

Assessment

You will be assessed on a regular basis during your time in college and you will receive regular feedback on the progress you are making for both your vocational qualification and maths and English if applicable. You will complete assignments for each unit which will be internally assessed by your tutors and will build up a portfolio of evidence. You will complete assessments for reading, writing and speaking and listening for your functional skills English qualification and an assessment for your maths qualification or complete a formal exam for GCSE.

Careers & Progression

On successful completion of this course, you could progress onto a Level 1 in Computing or another relevant Level 1 qualification.
