About the course
Be original and provide solutions rather than impact
negatively on the environment. Question and challenge as you develop skills and
apply these to design and create a project. You’ll study the design process
from concept to completion - from drawing through to manufacturing systems,
quality control and sustainability and produce prototypes of your choice. Gain
a real knowledge of what it means to be a designer, investigating historical,
social, cultural, environmental, and economic influences on design and
technology - and an understanding of the skills sought by employers.
