About the course

Do you have a head for figures? Enjoy the precision of Mathematics but want more relevance to the workplace? A Level Accounting will take you beyond balancing spreadsheets and give you an understanding of the principles of ethical behaviour within the Accounting environment and a solid grounding in financial management accounting. You will understand the responsibilities of an accountant and the impact of their recommendations on business as well as develop your ability to write reports, make logical arguments and make sound judgements based on the evidence given. You will be encouraged to keep up to date with financial news, including announcements concerning the performance of leading UK businesses and investigate their public accounts.
