About the course
Introduce yourself to the plastering techniques used by professionals and gain confidence in plastering and decorating. You’ll learn the skills you need to complete projects at home, and provide a basis for further progression to more intermediate and advanced level plastering courses should this be your aim. Throughout this course you will work on practical assignments, developing skills in basic plastering and plasterboard application, the measuring and estimation of materials and using the correct hand tools. You will also be taught to follow basic Health and Safety training in every lesson. Your tutor will encourage you to learn more about the different materials and finishes used in plastering, and you will work with your tutor to complete a work booklet to record your personal development and progression.
