About the course
This course is for adult learners who have completed the Level 1 Upholstery course, or an equivalent carpentry and joinery course, and who want to continue progressing their skills in upholstery crafts. This qualification continues to focus on the design and upholstering of individual pieces of furniture, incorporating frame making and application of springs and webbing skills, traditional and modern making skills and planning out projects. You’ll cover the safe use of portable power tools and look more in depth at the costing and planning of your projects, including sourcing materials for your items and renovations.

You must have completed either the Level 1 creative crafts or an equivalent qualification that will be agreed by the tutor prior to being enrolled on the programme.
