About the course

Do you enjoy French culture and want to learn more about our Gallic neighbours and their beautiful country? This is a structured course taught in an informal style with an emphasis on engaging with as much French as possible in order to improve your comprehension skills and your vocabulary. It will build on whatever skills you already have in French and aim to improve your confidence and competence according to your priorities. Topics will include: - family, cyber society, volunteering, heritage, music and cinema. 

The course will run on Wednesday evenings, 7.15-8.30pm.

Entry Requirements

You do not need to be skilled in French to join this course, your enthusiasm for the language and culture is more than enough to get you started.

Assessment

Learners will be assessed informally. Feedback will be given each half term and guidance given as to how learners can work to improve in each skill area. If you wish to sit a nationally recognised qualification (FCSE or GCSE), please inform your course tutor.
