About the course

This qualification enables trades persons with several years experience in the construction sector to match their skills to an industry linked qualification. The NVQ pathway will enable you to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve a successful outcome. You will be required to complete a skill scan to assess your skills and to assess the availability of the scope of work to meet the criteria of the qualification. Attendance in college will be one evening per month for the duration of your course, aligned to a minimum of two on site visits/assessments carried out by a trade specific trainer assessor from the Division of Construction. Your time in college will be used to collate a portfolio of evidence and collate any action plans for the future.
