About the course
It is a requirement that those working in the gas industry renew their qualifications every five years. This course is aimed at existing gas safe registered operatives who need to renew their ACS assessments. We recommend that a minimum of one day’s training is undertaken prior to this course, to update candidates with changes in legislation. It can be taken as an assessment only package if appropriate. You or your employer can discuss with the College a time and date that works for you. You will be able to take advantage of the College’s excellent facilities, parking and amenities. This qualification covers the legal and industry legislations of working with Gas. The course provides the information and knowledge needed by Gas professionals to work with Gas safely and effectively.

Entry Requirements
For re-assessment, candidates must already be a Gas Safe Engineer with a current ACS or has expired within the last 12 months.
Assessment
On this course you will be assessed through paper based exams and practical assessments.
Careers & Progression
On completion of the course you may progress to other professional certifications, including Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water and Renewable Energies. On successful completion of the course you will be qualified to work in the domestic gas industry.
