About the course
These courses aim to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Vented and Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards. This comprehensive course starts with intensive training in the four modules, followed by the completion of three assessments including one practical. You must successfully pass all three assessments to gain the BPEC Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems certificate and competency card. Trainees must hold a recognised trade qualification e.g. NVQ/SNVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or Domestic Heating.

Entry Requirements
You are required to have achieved a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, or 5 years relevant industrial experience.
Assessment
Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.

On completion of the course you may wish to progress to other professional certifications, including Water Regulations and Renewable Energies. On successful completion of the course you will be qualified to install hot water systems in domestic properties.
