Samuel Cruickshank had an amazing opportunity offered to him to study Engineering Design for free at BCUC.

BCUC was the perfect option for Samuel as he was already familiar with how friendly the tutors are and being local to the area meant he could easily fit his degree around his work life.

Within his time at BCUC, Samuel had the opportunity visit businesses like that of clearly interiors and the finance department at Burnley College to learn about leadership and management.

Samuel would recommend BCUC because of the small class sizes, which were really helpful for him during his studies for his Engineering Design degree. The campus was also one of Samuel’s favourite places about attending BCUC, especially the courtyard on a sunny day which he says was amazing.

Having a passion for the oil and gas tanker industry, Samuel’s ultimate career aspirations are to work his way up through engineering design to make a difference.
