Rachael Slater, from Accrington, completed her AAT Accounting and Finance Themis Apprenticeship with HAPPA. She even earned the Employee of the Month award and is heavily praised by her employer, Tanya Bunkham.
Her employer revelled in the ‘outstanding level’ of Rachael’s portfolio. She excelled in her exams, gaining over 90% in two of them and 89% in another.
Rachael revelled in her role in the Finance department and her prior knowledge of working on the yard gives her a deeper understanding when it comes to allocating costs from invoices, and her connection to the wider members of the HAPPA team have greatly improved communications between the office and the yard. She is single-handedly supporting the progression of the business.
