Negar progressed from an intermediate course and immediately shone, being named a finalist in the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2023.
A former student at Primet High School, Colne, Negar’s drive and determination saw her secure a month-long work placement in Crete to gain valuable experience in the travel industry.
She also particularly enjoyed a guest lecture delivered by Anil Thomas who shared insights into his extensive career in aviation. Negar is now studying Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University on her way to achieving her dream of becoming an airline pilot.
