Katy, a former pupil at St Augustine’s RC High School, showed determination and enthusiasm in studies, achieving a Distinction in her studies.
She completed work placements at Royal Blackburn Hospital in the Acute Medical Unit and Pendle Community Hospital and found these vital experiences to be memorable and rewarding.
She demonstrated an excellent attitude to studying and engagement with others, representing her fellow Students as a Student Rep and member of the Student Council.
She received offers from every university she applied for and was even interviewed by the BBC Newschannel on Results Day!
Katy progressed to the University of Northumbria to read Occupational Therapy.
