Joe, an employee at IDES Electrical Services, came to BCUC to embark on his Chartered Degree Management Apprenticeship, to further his own personal and professional development.

Joe’s dynamic research at BCUC allowed him to assess the strategic plan of his employer and recommend more sustainable options to encourage their further growth as a company. It was this innovative thinking that won Joe this years Employer Project Award at our 2023 Graduation ceremony.

When Joe started his apprenticeship with us, he aimed to become an Operations Manager. Having already achieved this position whilst studying with us, he has raised his aspirations further, and hopes to become an Operations Director.
