Grace, a former Student at Skipton Girls High School, is an exceptional engineer and a champion for Apprenticeships.

The Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Degree Apprentice, from Bradford works at Aerospace company HycAero and is proof that traditional academic routes aren’t the only paths to success.

She was invited to the Local Skills Champion Reception at 10 Downing Street in November 2023.

Grace’s approach and drive in reaching her career goals make her inspirational, ambitious and a future leader. At work she has become the go to person with a desire to help others and is a ‘trailblazer’, inspiring others and embracing opportunities.
