Emma Watkinson joined the BCUC family with a goal to reach her full potential and an aspiration to graduate with a BSc (Hons) Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling degree.

Being a mum of three, Emma felt as though BCUC was the best choice for her to be able to continue her studies alongside her home life.

This was made possible through the constant support of her tutors and access to resources like that of the library, which was one of her favourite places on campus.

Emma’s ultimate career aspiration after graduating BCUC is to become a school counsellor as she is drawn towards helping those children in need.
