Dexta Thompson

Dexta, 19, from Burnley, a former student at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School, combines his fierce competitive nature on the track with his impressive academic prowess in the classroom to achieve exceptional results.

As an Elite Athlete, Dexter represented England in the U20 Home Countries International Team finishing 1st place in his 1500m race which took place at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre alongside many other exceptional sporting achievements on the track and in cross country events, including a gold at the AOC Cross Country National Championships.

After achieving two A*s and an A at his A Levels he progressed to Loughborough University where he is reading Mathematics, pursing his ultimate career goal to become a professor of Mathematics.
