Fitness Evolution at Burnley College lent out fitness equipment during lockdown. It was then that Antony was encouraged to give fitness a go by his partner and did online classes during lockdown. When the gyms re-opened, he joined Fitness Evolution, got a personal trainer and realised he’d love to do that kind of work. Antony needed to get his English GCSE to get onto his university course. He loved the personal touch that Burnley College offered – Tutors all know your name and it feels like a friendly campus. You can email tutors and they always reply quickly.

Since Antony changed career, work is more flexible in his chosen industry than his previous role in retail and it has allowed him to fit study around my work really easily.

Now he’s doing a degree, he’s looking forward to expanding his skills, earn more, work in better places and have more choices in life.
