Burnley College Announced As Patron of Lancashire Business Day

Burnley College is putting its skills, knowledge and experience into a day recognising and sharing the success stories of Lancashire’s pioneering businesses.

Lancashire Business Day is back for 2023.

And Burnley College, the Number 1 College in England in the Government’s latest National Achievement Rate Tables for 16-18 year olds, has been named as the proud patron and sponsor.

The prestigious business event, organised by Lancashire Business View on 24 November, will celebrate the pioneering spirit and success stories of Lancashire companies and business leaders.

The popular event is organised by business magazine Lancashire Business View and will take place at the 1968 Lounge at Accrington Stanley Football Club, where attendees will enjoy a celebration of Lancashire’s business heritage, share in its success stories, and discuss future plans.

Neil Burrows, Burnley College Director of Skills, Innovation and Employer Engagement, said:

It is an honour to sponsor this prestigious event. Our strong connections with Lancashire businesses are vital in providing the exceptional education and training we deliver to learners of all ages.
Working hand-in-hand with industry leaders allows us to explore new technologies, fill skills gaps, and share experiences.

– Neil Burrows, Burnley College Director of Skills, Innovation and Employer Engagement

Lancashire Business Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate these fruitful relationships and grow them even further.

“And what a venue! We’re so grateful to Accrington Stanley for hosting us. It’s going to be incredible.”
