Boost Your Business at Breakfast with Themis at Burnley College

The Themis Apprenticeship Team from Burnley College

The apprenticeship training arm of Burnley College is inviting business leaders from around Lancashire to join them for a business boosting breakfast.

It’s an opportunity to find out how Themis can work with you to enhance your business, as well as meeting the expert team of Themis advisors and like-minded business people at the college’s industry-leading campus.

Themis are on a mission to empower companies who are keen to drive their business forward. Themis can even help increase the bottom line, as some businesses who take on an apprentice could be entitled to up to £4,000.

The event takes place on Friday 23 June at the college’s Princess Way campus from 8.30-10.30am and a complimentary breakfast is included.

Curtis Wilson, Themis Apprentice Recruitment Officer who is also a Themis Degree Apprentice said an apprentice can transform your business in so many ways:

Taking on an apprentice can help fill a vital skills gap in your business.
It’s key to ensure you have the right balance of workers and keep an eye on the future, looking for new trends which could influence which skills you may need.

– Curtis Wilson, Themis Apprentice Recruitment Officer

“But an apprentice will do so much more. They will empower your teams, giving them a true pathway to progression so they can nurture their skills and see continuous professional development, improving staff retention and satisfaction.

“It also gives you access to the latest training methods, technology and ideas.”

Themis at Burnley College prides itself on its close links with industry from one man companies to multi-national aerospace giants.

Curtis continued:

By engaging in continuous discussion with our partners about skills gaps, new technologies and best practice, it allows us to ensure we have the very latest knowledge and can invest in cutting-edge equipment so our apprentices are at the forefront of new technology throughout their qualification.

– Curtis Wilson, Themis Apprentice Recruitment Officer

“Training in this manner gives you the most skilled workforce while simultaneously future-proofing your business.”

There are also financial advantages to employing an apprentice, for example you could be awarded up to £4,000 if your business employs between 50-250 people and the apprentice is 16-18.
