Aspiring artists, wannabee West End stars, elite Esports players of tomorrow – get creative this summer and head to the Number 1 location in Burnley for #futurestars !

The Creative Arts and Media Summer Schools are back at Burnley College, the Number 1 College in England*, and this year they’re more exciting, action packed and varied than ever with three exciting activities:

  • Musical Theatre Summer School (Aged 6-13)
  • Esports and Gaming Summer School (Aged 8-14)
  • Art and Crafts Summer School (Aged 7-12)

All run from 12-12 August. The Musical Theatre experience will see learners work with professional industry-experienced tutors to perfect new skills and take part in a breath-taking Matilda-style show in their amazing performance theatre for parents and guardians.

For the Esports and Gaming fans you’ll be using the College’s cutting-edge gaming suites equipped with a full Formula 1 sim-rig, playing competitive Esports, learning Photoshop skills and discovering how fitness and wellbeing play a vital role in staying at the top of your game.

For the Art and Craft enthusiasts you will have the chance to explore and indulge your creative side. Learn the different skills, techniques and tricks to creating great art in a variety of styles.

“It’s an amazing week of entertainment, but we’re also teaching truly transferable skills as well as building their confidence.”

Places are limited so parents and guardians are being advised to book early.

The schools run from 9am-4pm and there’s wraparound care available on request too.

It’s just £99 per Summer School, with the breakfast and afternoon club just £15 extra per day with a 10% sibling discount available too.
