Burnley College and Boohoo Group Team up for Glittering Business Awards
Burnley College Students joined forced with one of the largest employers in the North West, Boohoo Group to create imaginative venue styling for the Burnley Business Awards.
Talented Art & Design Learners used their expertise to create stunning fashion displays in the theme of ‘written in the stars/destiny’ in our state-of-the-art fashion studios to design.
Burnley’s prestigious business awards, organised by Burnley Council, is to reward and celebrate the entrepreneurship and achievements of local organisations and employees.
We proud headline sponsor of the awards which recognise the incredible businesses and the people behind them who make up our strong business community.
The collaboration between Burnley College and Boohoo Group is long-standing and spotlights the power of bringing education and commerce together, encouraging creativity and nurturing young talent.
Earlier this year, Burnley College and Boohoo Group joined forces to donate dresses to young people in the area who may have struggled to cover the costs of attending celebrations such as prom.
Sophie Clark, Communications and Culture Manager at Boohoo Group, said she is delighted to collaborate with Burnley College:
“We were delighted to join forces with Burnley College once again, helping the Students to create beautiful fashion displays which tell a story.”
The latest project was a great opportunity for Learners to actively engage in a creative and unique way to produce beautiful displays for guests to enjoy and bring the ceremony to life.

“Our amazing Students have thrown themselves into this project! They’ve shown dedication and passion creating these unique displays and have developed their existing skills and knowledge further.
“The fabrics and items supplied by Boohoo Group have allowed them to be experimental and it has been a very rewarding experience. We are extremely proud to partner with a global business with roots in Burnley.”
