Burnley College are recruiting an enthusiastic Lecturer in ESOL to provide and deliver an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students.

You will teach, relevant to subject specialism up to 832 hours per year. You will also maintain high quality records and provide timely information. Experience of successful teaching of ESOL is essential with the knowledge of Pearson’ s ESOL Skills for Life specifications being desired.

The successful candidate is required to obtain a CELTA/DELTA or equivalent ESOL qualification. A recognised teaching qualification is not essential however you would be required to work towards this. The College has an excellent Staff Development programme where a recognised teaching qualification can be gained. Burnley College Lecturers can be supported through a mentoring system and staff development programmes to develop their classroom practice.

The salary for this post is £31,967 – £38,147.
