Student case study

Elite rugby athlete Molly from Burnley is a dedicated individual both in and outside the classroom. She completed her Level 3 Sport and Exercise Sciences, coaching athletes of all ages and abilities.

Our Elite Athlete Programme developed Molly’s talent both in a competitive aspect and within sports coaching with personalised programmes.  Molly’s talent in Rugby was first recognised by a Preston coach in the local area when she was encouraged to take it to a more competitive level.  

Being an Elite Athlete provided her with key knowledge that she has used to progress to the University of Salford to complete her degree.
