About this vacancy

An exiting opportunity has opened up within the company to recruit a business admin apprentice.

 

The apprentice will provide efficient administration support in accordance with B&E Boys policies and
procedures. Responsible for day to day administration and office duties.
To ensure the Properties and Construction departments are professionally supported in
terms of all forms of communication.

Duties/main responsibilties include:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • You will be required to assist Directors and senior members of staff as necessary.
  •  Meet and greet visitors as required from reception.
  • Setting up the Kingfisher meeting rooms for internal and external meetings and leave
    tidy on completion.
  • Answer/deal with queries both face-to-face through reception and via the telephone,
    being the first port of call for incoming calls. Take messages and pass them to the
    relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintain the general filing system in line with the Company policies and procedures using
    both manual and computerised systems, including inputting data, keeping records,
    statistics, confidential and general filing systems as directed, and maintaining archive
    records.
  • Maintain a range of marketing materials relating to property availability including
    websites, social media, blogs, newsletters and newspaper and magazine advertisements.
  • Assistance with weekly building checks within a local managed Business Centre which
    includes inspection communal areas and office space for any maintenance issues to
    report to the Property Manager.
  • Complete any other administration duties as required by your line manager
    commensurate with the post

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Well organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines

• Good communication
• Someone keen to learn
• Working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook/Internet

Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:00
