Burnley College and North West Business Training Golf Day helps Pendleside Hospice
Leading employers from across the region joined forces with Burnley College and North West Business Training to raise £2,200 for Pendleside Hospice at a successful charity Golf Day.
Staged at Nelson Golf Club, the popular event returned after the Covid pandemic and attracted 36 golfers from a variety of sectors, as well as staff from the college.

“Many thanks to the amazing businesses who supported our Golf Day. It was a real pleasure to enjoy a round of golf with them in marvellous weather while raising money for Pendleside Hospice, which is at the very heart of our community!
“Our Golf Day is always a highlight in the calendar for employers and staff alike and this year was no exception.”
“We’re proud of the great, productive relationships we have with business leaders and want to thank them for their generosity, helping us to raise £1,700 on the day, boosted to £2,200 after the event.”
